Sam graduated from St. Mary’s University with a degree in Sport Rehabilitation and has recently completed an MSc in Applied Biomechanics from Roehampton University. Sam has 15 years experience in sports injury management and is passionate about Pilates, running biomechanics and the importance of posture and core strength. Sam is a soft tissue specialist and will use her expertise in manual therapy and rehabilitation to help return you to full functional fitness. During her career, Samantha has toured with performance artists and pop stars, worked with professional golfers and international rugby teams (including England, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa). Sam now works part time as the senior England rugby team soft tissue and rehab therapist.

Lyndsey Marie Cannon BSc (Hons) GSR MSMA MAPPI

Lyndsey is currently a part-time lecturer on the undergraduate and masters programmes at St Mary’s University, Twickenham.  The same institution she earned her BSc Hons in Sport Rehabilitation in 2009.  In 2014 Lyndsey completed a Fellowship of Applied Functional Science from the Gray Institute, Michigan USA, which enhanced her passion for clinical biomechanics and functional movement.  Lyndsey has a keen eye for spotting faulty running mechanics having coached runners of all abilities from beginners to marathon runners, elite sprinters, triathletes and footballers.  She helped to develop The Running Lab, using the 2D and 3D analysis system within Arch Health and Fitness. Lyndsey also specialises in soft tissue therapy and Pilates, working as part of the England rugby recovery team and in 2013 toured with the team to Argentina.

Lyndsey is only avaliable for appointments at Arch Health and Fitness on Monday evenings, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Helen Vorley MSc BSc (Hons) GSR MCSP MSMA MAPPI

 

Helen graduated from Kings College London with an Msc in Physiotherapy, in addition to her BSc (hons) in Sport Rehabilitation from St Mary’s University. In 2014 Helen completed a Fellowship of Applied Functional Science from the Gray Institute, Michigan USA, which enhanced her passion for clinical biomechanics and functional movement.  Helen works in both private practice and the NHS and has a particular interest in muscle imbalance and dysfunction and understands how important these are for correct training and optimal health. Helen works particularly with the assessment and management of musculoskeletal injuries, and works closely with her clients to support them throughout the rehabilitation process. Helen has 10 years experience in Pilates and enjoys teaching in both a class and one-to-one setting.

Amy Ridge BSc (Hons) GSR MSMA MAPPI

 

Amy graduated from St Mary’s University with a degree in Sport Rehabilitation. Since graduating, Amy has worked in private practice, managing the treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Complimenting her more clinical roles, Amy has also worked with performing artists, National League Rugby teams, and the GB 2012 Women’s Water Polo Team providing soft tissue therapy. Her passion for Pilates underlines her interest in core strength, posture and pelvic stabilisation. During her training sessions, Amy places importance on educating each client on their individual dysfunctions and developments to ensure optimal outcomes.

Daniel Rollins BSc (Hons) Ost. DO FAFS

 

Daniel Rollins is a registered Osteopath and graduate of the London School of Osteopathy. His career in the manual therapy and fitness arena began over 10 years ago, initially qualifying as a gym instructor/personal trainer and then as a sports massage therapist and Pilates Instructor. Daniel then found Osteopathy and, inspired by its principles and practice, further developed his skills, encompassing a holistic approach to the treatment and management of musculoskeletal disorders. He will assess you by using a variety of osteopathic, orthopaedic and functional movement tests appropriate to your presenting complaint.

 

Daniel Rollins is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council, a member of the British Osteopathic Association and a fellow of Applied Functional Science with the Gray Institute.
